As of February 2009, there was a total of approximately 57.2 million tonnes of proved and probable thenardite reserves pursuant to the JORC Code, in these three mining areas. According to JT Boyd, our mining reserves are generally higher than the average purity in Sichuan Province and the rest of China. Furthermore, both Dahongshan and Guangji Mining Areas contain calcium-based glauberite ore, which is considered to be the most suitable for specialty thenardite production due to its chemical property.
As of the Latest Practicable Date, we had two thenardite production facilities with a combined production capacity of 1.6 million tpa in both Dahongshan Mining Area and Guangji Mining Area. Moreover, we expect to complete construction of a 0.2 million tpa production facility of medical thenardite in Muma Mining Area by the end of 2009 and a 1.0 million tpa mining and production facility of powder and specialty thenardite in Muma Mining Area in the third quarter of 2010.
- Dahongshan Mining Area

- Guangji Mining Area
Location: 12km southwest of the Dahongshan Mining Area Commencement of Production: Nov 2007 Production Capacity (million tpa): 1.0 Marketable Reserves (million tpa): 20.6* Mining Rights: 30 years to September 2038 Average Purity of Reserves: 35-40% Na2SO4 Products: Specialty Thenardite Others: 15 MW coal-fired power plant 
- Muma Mining Area
Location: Wuyang Village, Pengshan Country, Meishan City in Sichuan Province Commencement of Production: Expected to be the end of 2009 Production Capacity (million tpa): 1.2 Marketable Reserves (million tpa): 17.1* Mining Rights: 30 years to September 2038 Average Purity of Reserves: 34-36% Na2SO4 Products: Specialty Thenardite, Powder Thenardite and Medical Thenardite
