Specialty thenardite products are designed to satisfy the needs and specifications of our customers for their end products. They are generally used in the same industries as powder thenardite but are widely regarded as more favorable compared to power thenardite products as they can reduce the production costs for downstream products and improve product quality.

Our specialty thenardite products include neutral thenardite (with a pH of 6 to 8), granular thenardite, extra fine thenardite, high purity thenardite (purity higher than 99.3%), low chlorine thenardite, low calcium and magnesium thenardite, extra white thenardite, low iron content thenardite, colored thenardite, and animal feed thenardite. Recently launched specialty thenardite products are also sold under the brand "Chuanmei" as well.

We are the only approved producer of medical thenardite in China, operating with GMP Certificate and Pharmaceutical Production Permit. Medical thenardite is used in both Chinese and Western medicines as a mild laxative and an anti-inflammatory agent. It is sold under the National Pharmaceutical Batch Code Z51022578 issued by the State Food and Drug Administration. Its quality also complies with the product specifications set out in the 2005 National Pharmaceutical Encyclopedia and is subject to the supervision of the Sichuan FDA. It is sold under the brand "Sansu". We also plan to introduce medical thenardite for clinical use to the market in 2011.

Powder thenardite is mainly used in the powder detergents, glass and textile industries as an inert filler, a refining process aid and a dyeing process aid respectively. The quality of powder thenardite is subject to the supervision of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine. Our powder thenardite complies with the industry standard set forth in National Standard GB-T6009-2003, and is sold under the brand "Chuanmei".
